One of my absolute joys of teaching yoga is to be able to offer one-on-one guidance. Private sessions can be a great way to begin a yoga practice, return to one, work through an injury, or breakdown a pose (or series of poses) in an individualized, intelligent, & in-depth way. (Private sessions make great gifts too!) Private sessions are also a perfect way for teachers to work with me in regards to building their yoga teaching business.
Private sessions with me are currently done entirely virtually on zoom. This means you can work with me from anywhere in the world! To inquire about my availability & rates please e-mail me.
Some tips as you set up for your private session via zoom:
Wear something you can move easily & comfortably in.
If you have a mat, set it up horizontally to your device's camera. If you don't have a mat, you can work on a hard floor - just have an extra towel or blanket on hand. Have your mat/practice space set up horizontal & far away enough from your camera so I can see your whole body in profile.
Collect props. I generally use two blocks, a blanket, & a strap in my teaching. If you don’t have specific yoga props you could use a couple of sturdy books in place of yoga blocks (these should be something that you don’t mind putting weight onto & it would be ideal if they are about the same size). A belt or scarf could be used in place of a strap (it should be something that you don’t mind being used on your feet & something that doesn’t have a lot of stretch to it).
If you have any questions at all pleasee-mail me.
