"I’ve had the opportunity to take Kate’s class at the studio and via livestream. I never thought I would be into Zoom yoga but Kate’s livestream flow class has been a constant for me in a sea of change. I really appreciate Kate’s focus on alignment and her thoughtful and easy to follow instructions. Kate is incredibly knowledgeable about yoga and the anatomy of our bodies. In Kate’s class, I have permission to take space for myself and do what feels good for my body. I take Kate’s class when I feel good, down, in good days, and in bad days. When I join Kate on the mat, I know I’ll have the opportunity to move with intention and care, to laugh at her jokes, connect with my body and mind, and feel strong at the end of my practice. "Years ago, faced with a shoulder injury, I began private sessions with Kate to help modify my yoga practice. Beyond giving me appropriate accommodations, Kate, shared her observations about my posture and was the first person to observe the stress I was carrying in my shoulders. This radically changed my treatment outcome. I not only learned how to modify my yoga practice, but I also learned how to incorporate specific poses to help speed my recovery. Recently, Kate has been a fantastic resource in helping me design a personal yoga practice with a focus on my hips. I've had the great pleasure of taking countless public classes with her, in addition to a series of private sessions and lots of time under her guidance during a 200 hour teacher training.
